Lake TahoeSituated at an elevation of 6,225 ft, it straddles the state line between California and Nevada and is the second deepest lake in the US at 1645 feet deep. Lake Tahoe offers 75 miles of beautiful, granite carved shoreline, and its basin is ringed with snow capped peaks that soar to over 10,800 feet. The lake is host to a wide array of fish, including Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, Kokanee and the famous Mackinaw. North shore Lake Tahoe is just a short ride up the hill at 110 miles from Sacramento and 46 miles from Reno.
The Seasons - (June-September) Tahoe, unlike many lakes at this high of an elevation, can generally be fished year round, but the summer months offer the most stable fishing and weather conditions. During the summer months the Mackinaw hold on the deeper ledges just off the north shore, which makes it just a short ride out to the fishing grounds. During the second half of the summer Kokanee are a popular target known for their good fights and fantastic taste. The Rates - $200.00 per person. Each additional guest $100.00 (Two person minimum boat charge, all tackle and fishing equipment is provided including fish cleaning and wrapping) |
Our Customers Say It Best!........
Hey Bryan, we had an absolute blast fishing with you last week, we couldn't stop talking about how great the experience was. We got into some huge fish and had a great time doing it. You have a great way with your clients, an easy manner that really translates well, even at slow fishing times you kept things interesting. You remembered everyone's name, I don't think you ever called anyone the wrong name not even once! That's pretty impressive. You set the bar high for future annual fishing expeditions! Andy K. The map shows our typical departure point, Lake Forest Boat Launch Facility , at Lake Tahoe, however actual departure point may be different and will be confirmed about a week prior to your trip. Personalized dock pick-up is available at all the lakes we fish but must be set up in advance.
